Paige and Piper's Lemonade Stand Achieves Fundraising Success
Staff Report / Alexandrialocal.org
Paige and Piper's Lemonade Stand has achieved notable success for four years, with this year's effort being their best. Supported by their mother, Lacie, family members, and the local community, the girls set a fundraising goal of $10,000 for the CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Cancer Center and successfully reached that goal.
Contributions came from students at Caroline Dormon Junior High, local businesses, and visitors to the lemonade stand. Paige and Piper's commitment to their cause earned them the "Owning the Mission" award, which was presented by Superintendent Powell, Mrs. Jennifer Bordelon, and CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini CEO Monte Wilson. Their efforts show how big dreams can lead to significant change in the community.
