**ATRANS Announces Temporary Route Changes for Mardi Gras Parade on February 21, 2025**
Alexandria, Louisiana – ATRANS has issued a reroute notice for service adjustments on Friday, February 21, 2025, due to the City of Pineville Mardi Gras Parade. The parade will impact service on the 601 Pineville route and Route 4 Night Service near Pineville High School from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
### Temporary Route Adjustments:
- **Outbound 601 (Day Service):**
Buses departing from the Downtown terminal will use the Pineville Expressway. Service will resume normal routing starting at Melrose/Reagan Street.
- **Inbound 601 (Day Service):**
On the return to the Downtown terminal, buses will follow the normal route until departing from Veterans Hospital. At this point, they will merge onto US 165, cross the Gillis Long Bridge, and proceed on North 3rd Street to reach the terminal.
- **RT 4 (Night Service):**
Night service buses will leave the terminal as usual but will follow the same inbound route as the Day Service buses.
Passengers are advised to utilize the nearest bus stops available within these rerouted areas to access service.
