DC Hosts Diverse 2026 New Year's Eve Events

Washington, DC is set to host a variety of New Year's Eve events for 2026. The festivities include several family-friendly activities and live performances in different locations around the capital.

Noon Yards Eve is scheduled at The Yards Park on December 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and family-friendly. Later in the evening, Gatsby's DC Fireworks Yacht Party will take place on a City Cruises vessel at The Wharf, kicking off at 9:30 p.m.

Cirque De Luxure will perform at the Barrel House Cafe and Bar from 9 p.m. on December 31 through early morning until 3 a.m. A Flaming Lips concert is set for the same day at The Anthem, with doors opening at 7 p.m. In Alexandria, First Night Alexandria Fireworks, a family-friendly event, will light up the sky with fireworks at Waterfront Park, Old Town Alexandria at 7:30 p.m. and again at midnight.
