**Alexandria Parks & Recreation Announces Mardi Gras School Break Activities**

Residents of Alexandria, Louisiana, have a variety of fun and engaging activities to participate in during the Mardi Gras school break, courtesy of the City of Alexandria's Parks & Recreation Division. From sports tournaments to fitness sessions and creative activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Here’s a breakdown of the scheduled events at local recreation centers for Monday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 4:

**Cheatham Park (2956 Jones Ave)**

- **Monday, March 3**

- 10 AM - Noon: 3v3 Basketball Tournament

**Frank O. Hunter Park (2399 Willow Glen River Rd)**

- **Monday, March 3**

- 1 PM - 6 PM: Youth Paint & Play, featuring a paint party, kickball, and volleyball

- **Tuesday, March 4**

- 10 AM - Noon: Volleyball & Wiffleball

- 1 PM - 3 PM: Pickleball

- 3 PM - 6 PM: Open Gym

**Youth & Teen Center (1801 Sylvester St)**

- **Monday, March 3**

- 10 AM - 11 AM: Youth & Adult Fitness

- 1 PM - 5 PM: Youth Pickleball Camp

- 5 PM - 6 PM: Youth & Adult Pickleball Games

- **Tuesday, March 4**

- 9 AM - Noon: Youth & Adult Pickleball

- 1 PM - 3 PM: Basketball Camp

- 3 PM - 6 PM: Open Gym
