**Alexandria's Festivals Receive Top Honors at State Awards Ceremony**

The City of Alexandria’s Division of Community Services has been recognized for its outstanding efforts in organizing community festivals. At the Louisiana Association of Fairs & Festivals Awards Program, Alexandria earned three prestigious awards for its well-attended events, Alex River Fête and Alex Winter Fête.

The awards include:

- **Best T-Shirt** for the Alex River Fête, which attracted over 15,000 attendees.

- **Best T-Shirt** for the Alex Winter Fête, with more than 30,000 attendees.

- **Best Marketing Item** for the Alex Winter Fête Sponsorship Opportunities Booklet, also with over 30,000 attendees.

These recognitions highlight the creativity and commitment of the city’s Community Services Division in organizing memorable events that bring locals together and draw in visitors from outside the community. The team’s hard work and innovative approaches ensure that these festivals remain major highlights for the region.

Alexandria is honored to receive these accolades and looks forward to planning even bigger and better events for the future. The city also expressed gratitude to residents, visitors, and all supporters of the festivals who contribute to their success annually.
