Rapides Parish Schools Achieve Higher Performance Scores

Rapides Parish Public Schools announced significant improvements in their District Performance Scores for the 2023-2024 school year. The district's score increased from 80.8 to 83, maintaining its B rating, which is the highest achievable under the current state accountability framework.
The district is recognized for its growth as it ranked 19th in the state overall. Additionally, Rapides Parish is ranked 20th in the state for the ACT Index. The district had 17 schools identified as Top Gains Schools, indicating substantial academic progress.
