Stand United for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Staff Report / PalmSpringslocal.org

October is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Palm Springs Fire Department in California is encouraging everyone to unite in raising awareness and celebrating the strength of women affected by breast cancer. This month honors mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, cousins, grandmothers, and friends who have fought against the disease or supported someone during their fight. The department invites the community to stand together in support of those who are battling breast cancer and to remember those who have lost their lives to the disease. The message emphasizes solidarity and hope for all women touched by breast cancer. The campaign uses hashtags including #breastcancerawarenessmonth, #fightlikeawoman, and #palmsprings.
