Palm Springs Navigation Center Phase Two Complete!

Staff Report / PalmSpringslocal.org

The Palm Springs City Government has announced the completion of the second phase of the Palm Springs Navigation Center. This new phase features 80 modular units, which include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom accommodations for residents experiencing homelessness. The center will also offer essential services, including laundry facilities, a new kitchen, a playground, and a dog park.

Local officials credited the project's success to the collaboration of several partners, including Governor Gavin Newsom, State of California officials, Supervisor V. Manuel Perez, Greg Rodriguez of the County of Riverside, and IEHP. Additionally, Martha's Village and Kitchen played a significant role in the project. The City Government expressed gratitude for the leadership and cooperation that made this initiative possible.
