Farrell Drive Lane Closures for Storm Work

Farrell Drive in Palm Springs will experience temporary lane closures for storm line trenching work. The southbound lane between Tahquitz Canyon Way and Baristo Road will be closed during specific working hours. The closures will take place on the following dates:
- **Friday, October 4, 2024:** Closed from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- **Monday, October 7, 2024:** Closed from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- **Tuesday, October 8, 2024:** Closed from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
During this time, the northbound lane of Farrell Drive will remain open for traffic. Detour signs will be installed to guide drivers to alternate routes via El Cielo and Sunrise. Motorists are encouraged to use these alternate routes to minimize delays and avoid backups near the work areas. A map detailing the location of the closures is available for reference.
