Students Celebrate Día de los Muertos at Festival

Students from Rodriguez Montessori Elementary in San Antonio, Texas, recently celebrated Día de los Muertos. The celebration included a procession to their Annual Muertitos Festival, where students wore traditional black and white attire, along with flower headbands and masks. The event featured music, games, food, and crafts, including sugar skull decorating. Additionally, a community altar was set up for students and families to place photos of their deceased loved ones. The event served both as a celebration and a fundraising opportunity for the school.
