Pine View Freshman Wins Sticker Design Competition

Carys Smith, a freshman at Pine View School for the Gifted, has won the "Voted" sticker design competition hosted by the Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections. Her design was chosen from over 350 submissions across 14 schools.
The winning sticker features a Florida-inspired alligator floating in an American flag inner tube, accessorized with a tropical drink, sunglasses, and a Panama hat.
Ron Turner, the Supervisor of Elections for Sarasota County, highlighted the importance of the design, noting it will be used in conjunction with the upcoming presidential election on November 5, 2024. For more information, residents can visit SarasotaVotes.gov.
