A **Blue Alert** has been issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety for Seth Altman, a 33-year-old man wanted for the shooting and serious injury of a law enforcement officer. The incident occurred in Hall County, Texas.

Authorities last spotted Altman at the 200 block of S 4th St in Memphis, TX at 11:04 PM on October 3, 2024. He is described as a white male, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, with blue eyes and red or auburn hair. At the time of his disappearance, Altman was wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans.

Seth Altman is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone sees him, they are advised not to approach him and to immediately contact 911.

For further inquiries, individuals can reach the Hall County Sheriff’s Office at (806) 259-2636. The office also reported that local law enforcement is supporting the injured officer, Chief Rex Plant, and wishing him a speedy recovery.
