Alexandria police release details of local incident.

On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at approximately 5:30 AM, the Alexandria Police Department executed a search warrant in the 2800 block of 3rd Street leading to the arrest of 18-year-old Jaquarrius Brevelle of Alexandria LA. Brevelle was charged with one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder, one count of Possession of a Machine Gun, and one count of Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
