Pittston Hosts Traditional Lithuanian Christmas Kucios Dinner
The Knights of Lithuania Council 143 in Pittston is planning the Kucios dinner on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at noon. The dinner will take place at the Monsignor Bendik Center on Church Street in Pittston, Pennsylvania. Kucios is the traditional Christmas Eve dinner celebrated by people of Lithuanian ancestry around the world. The event is open to both council members and the general public.
A committee, which includes Marilyn Fitzgerald, Mary Claire Voveris, Elaine Elko, Tom Vaxmonsky, June Supey, Janet Palladino, and Dennis Palladino (seated), as well as Don Waxmonsky, Joe Francik, Mary Portelli, Mary Policare, Stanley Holko, Sylvia Waxmonsky, Bill Sodnik, Ruth Wnuk, Lainey Mentrikoski, and Rob Kiska (standing), met to plan the dinner.
