Native American Learning Day Celebrates Local Heritage

Palm Springs Unified School District (PSUSD) co-sponsored the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Kewet Native American Learning Day and Market this past weekend. The event aimed to celebrate the heritage and culture of Native American communities.

Several district officials attended the event, including Board President Madonna Gerrell, Board Clerk Karen Cornett, Board Members Sergio Espericueta and Charlie Ervin Jr., as well as Superintendent Tony Signoret.

The event took place at Palm Springs High School.
