Chandler Hosts Discussion on Autism and Neurodiversity

The City of Chandler recently hosted brad herron-valenzuela, Managing Director of the First Place Transition Academy and Director of the Maricopa County IDA Center for Education & Training, as a speaker on diversity, equity, and inclusion. During the event, he shared important information about autism and neurodiversity, along with the services provided by First Place Arizona.

Attendees expressed appreciation for the insights gained, with one remarking on the learning opportunity presented, as it was a new topic for many. Another attendee highlighted the productive conversation about social progress for individuals on the autism spectrum. The City of Chandler thanked brad herron-valenzuela for initiating significant and valuable discussions on these important subjects.
