Volunteer with OneInMath: Empower Young Learners Today!

Staff Report / Lindenlocal.org

The Linden Public Library is offering a volunteer opportunity with OneInMath, a free math program for students in kindergarten through third grade. The program, which is managed by high school volunteers, aims to help young students overcome math anxiety, improve their confidence, and master basic arithmetic skills.

Volunteers will work with groups of five students for a period of 10-12 weeks, committing two hours each week. Sessions will be held on Saturdays from 11 AM to 12 PM, starting from September 14th and ending on December 7th.

A mandatory training session for new volunteers is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11th, at 4 PM EDT.

Registration for the program will open on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, at 1 PM EDT and can be completed at oneinmath.com. For any questions, interested individuals can reach out via email at lindenlead@oneinmath.com.
