EMDC Explores STEM Innovations at Challenger Learning Center

The Eastern Maine Development Corporation (EMDC) attended a recent event at the Challenger Learning Center. The event featured space simulators, a virtual reality tour of the International Space Station, and information about upcoming Congressional STEM upgrades for the facility.
EMDC's CEO, Lee Umphrey, met with Kirsten Hibbard, Executive Director of the Challenger Learning Center, to discuss the organization’s efforts to promote STEM education in the community. The event aimed to showcase the importance of innovation and hands-on learning in shaping the future.
