Rebecka Fishman Appointed Assistant Principal at Middle School

The Palm Springs Unified School District (PSUSD) has announced the appointment of Rebecka Fishman as the new assistant principal at James Workman Middle School. Fishman started her education career in 2018 as a music teacher within the PSUSD and has held the position of elementary music department chair.
Before her appointment at James Workman Middle School, Fishman served as an assistant principal in Coachella Valley Unified since 2023. Her background includes implementing a school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program and facilitating Restorative Practices aimed at involving all educational partners to foster student success.
The district has welcomed Fishman to the PSUSD community.
