High school students in C.R.E.W. summer program gain experience
Reviewed by Madi Wagner / Salisburylocal.org
Over a dozen high school students from Wicomico County Public Schools are participating in the C.R.E.W. summer program. C.R.E.W. stands for Career Research Education and Work and offers 10th and 11th grade students the chance to have a paid job in the community for six weeks. The program also provides classroom training on soft skills that are important for success in the workplace. During the summer, the students started researching and working on their Community Service project. Some of them were also interviewed by Lower Shore Workforce Alliance members.
