On Monday evening, the FDNY responded to a fire at 800 E 136 St. in the Bronx, New York City. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a large fire in a closed commercial structure. They forced entry, but due to the intensity of the flames and heat, they had to switch to outside operations after a partial collapse of the roof. Three FDNY members were treated and taken to area hospitals by EMS units. The fire was brought under control at 10:13 PM. Fire Marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
