Mr. Sons Pathoumthong has been named the Acting Principal of Brame Middle School in Alexandria, Louisiana. He has worked in Rapides Parish for 20 years in various roles such as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Mr. Pathoumthong started his career at Brame Middle School and was previously the acting assistant principal there in 2014. He then went on to serve as the Assistant Principal of Discipline at Alexandria Senior High from 2015 to 2024, where he also coached the girls and boys soccer teams.

In a statement, Mr. Pathoumthong expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve the school and community that supported him at the beginning of his educational journey. He aims to create a welcoming and safe environment at Brame Middle School that is conducive to learning for all students and staff.
